Submission Guidelines

 We invite submissions of papers describing work in the domains suggested above or in closely related areas.

The paper should be submitted in English via the Microsoft Conference Management Toolkit (CMT):

The submitted paper should be at least 3 pages (page format - 1 column; font - Times New Roman, font size - 12, 30 lines, 60 characters per line (with spaces), 2 intervals).

Maximum size of paper is not limited but should be reasonable. The recommended length is from 3 to 10.

When determining the size of the paper, please take into account that extended versions of the papers are planned to be published in the ICPR proceedings after the workshop by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series.

Ethical Requirements

By submitting to IMTA-IX-2024, the authors acknowledge that the submitted paper has not previously and is not currently accepted for publication in its current form. This includes, but is not limited to, any conference, workshop, journal or collection of papers.

The paper will be presented in person by its author(s).

IMTA-IX-2024 may remove any papers violating these requirements.

 

Paper Reviewing Process

All papers will be peer-reviewed. The criteria for accepting the papers will be as follows:

° the paper is focused on the IMTA-IX-2024 topics and presents new methods in image mining;

° the paper increases the impact of image mining methods in applications, e.g. providing new technique for an old application problem, or a new application for a known technique;

° the paper increases the awareness and comprehension about the image mining theory providing novel research perspectives possibly merging with other domains.

The papers should be prepared strictly in accordance with files “Instructions for authors.docx” and “Enclosure 1. Manuscript Metadata and Structure Template.docх”. The papers that do not 100% correspond to the Author Guidelines will not be reviewed until the authors would not update them to the requirements of the Author Guidelines.

 

Workshop Proceedings

Proceedings will be published in a Special Issue “Proceedings of IMTA-IX-2024” of the International Journal of the Russian Academy of Sciences “Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis. Advances in Mathematical Theory and Applications” (PRIA, Vol. 34, No. 4, 2024) (the Publisher - Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.: Tropic Isle Building, P.O. After ICPR 2024, the extended texts of the papers presented at the IMTA-IX-2024, selected and recommended by the IMTA Committee, will be published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series. The corresponding notification will be sent to the authors at the appropriate time.
